So, how many science classes have you had that talk about the scientific method? I know the schools start talking about it in the third grade, so I figure you are probably tired of hearing about it.
And, of course it's what we are doing in class Monday.
One of our objectives talks about error and understanding it. That's where our talk about the scientific method will go and hopefully it's a new direction for you.
Science is all about seeing something and then guessing about what's happening or why it happened (of course we call it a hypothesis because we're fancy). You're going to be doing a lot of guessing. And some of your guesses will be "wrong." Welcome to being a scientist, where there are no real "right" answers. Just your best guess. Crazy, right?
